Affordable Knife Set

I purchased this knife set as a college student for my apartment and its been a game changer! The quality is good for the price and the knives are easy to clean. It doesn’t take up much room on my kitchen counter, which is a plus, so I would definitely recommend this for people with smaller kitchens or who are just getting into cooking!

Good product

For the price good value, I’d recommend

For the money it’s a solid set! You’re not going to impress anyone but it’s good enough

So you may have searched for ‘knife set in block’, arranged by price and this was one of the first couple. And you might think “Well does it suck?” There’s a couple poor reviews buried in here saying these knives aren’t even sharp and can’t cut any better than butter knives. That is definitely not my experience. They are not GREAT knives but they certainly cut, and for my little needs – things like I need to cut some cheese or some bread or dice up some chicken – they’re fine! If you’re a super cook who does half an hr of prep before every meal you might want something a little more higher grade but for Joe Average they’ll do. And at the price point they are a steal.The scissors that came with the set are just super super excellent by the way, probably separately a pair of scissors like that would be 8 bucks by themselves

Great Starter Kitchen Knife Set

The value on this set of knifes is really good. They are well made with non-slip plastic handles and you get a number of accessories in the set. How did Farberware do it and make the price point? Two ways: the included knife block is rough finished and the knives are of a higher gauge (thinner) metal so they do not have the heft of a substantial higher grade knife. The weight of a knife can make a difference to someone with more experience and let the weight of the blade do some of the work. Not the case with these. But they are sharp, they cut well and clean easily. If you need a comprehensive set of knives now and on a budget, this is a great choice.

Knife set

Great. Value ! Very sharp

It’s ok besides the random serrated areas on most knives

As long as everything in the set is exactly what your looking for, it’s good. But I personally was disappointed because I didn’t see that they all had random serrated areas on all of the knives besides one. I had this for over a year and mainly used the non serrated knife, and for the most part is was sharp enough to use throughout that year

Slots for knifes and spatulas

First thing I dislike is that I don’t have a slot for one knife and second is the spatulas handles comes off easy and they are flimsy . So far everything else is ok.

Looks like a dog chewed on it

Looks like a dog chewed on the wood. The box looks like it’s been riding in the back of someone’s pickup for a few weeks. But super sharp knives

this is a great gift idea for just about anyone on your list. this also looks awesome in the kitchen no matter where you place it.

Eh…

I guess I should have known for the price, these wouldn’t be the greatest. Some of the blades bend when you cut. I went back to my old, blunt knives and will purchase a different set. Definitely wouldn’t purchase these again.
