Best mouse money can buy.

I have been using various Logitech MX Master mice for almost 10 years now, since the original MX Master came out, in both professional settings and at home. When a new mouse model comes out with new features that persuade me to upgrade, I rotate the current workplace mouse to my home PC and use the new one at work. I haven't used a mouse, yet, that's been better for me than the MX Master series. For more personal usage context;I work in mechanical engineering using CAD software, do occasional software coding, device programming, Office software, etc. Like a lot of engineers in the manufacturing-related industries, I also work too many hours, 50-70 hours per week. My job is computer-based for the overwhelming majority of this time. For the first time, I replaced a workplace mouse with the same model. I replaced my MX Master 3S with an identical one due to the left mouse button started to miss clicks. IOW, I would push the button per usual but it wouldn't recognize that it had been clicked. I troubleshooted everything that could be done (charge, firmware, OS settings, etc) and decided it was hardware related. Having a fresh new one confirmed this, as the buttons on my old one are noticeably softer and not nearly as snappy-clicking as my new one. The old one was purchased almost 2 years ago to the day, based on purchase history.I'm overall satisfied with the longevity of the product given the amount of use it gets, including being thrown in a backpack with a laptop and other devices, not-infrequently, sometimes traveling (truck or airplane-carryon) which is a bit abusive, I suppose. The 3S is wildly better and more satisfying to use than its predecessor, the MX Master 3.If this one wears out in two years, and Logitech hasn't come out with a better one yet, I'll definitely buy an exact replacement without a second thought.

Not a gamer, but I have large hands and this thing is smooth and comfortable

My hands are quite large and I can make the mouse disappear, but I am rested on it comfortable for a long work day... and an evening of editing photos. Really like the accuracy (using primarily on a mac). I guess my only complaint is the forward/back buttons feel a little flimsy and toyish feeling, but in the end they work... for how long? I have no idea... This is my first Logitech mouse in years as they ones I had in the past did not last. Right now, I like this one. That may change in 3, 6, 9, 12 months, but I may come back and do a follow-up.

    Best Mouse

Love this mouse. I am a tax accountant and use my computer 60+ hours per week during tax season so a comfortable mouse is important to me. I recently purchased this one to replace an older Master 3 that I had (still works great and gets great battery life, I just moved it to a different computer). The battery life is great, I charge it every Friday out of habit but I have never seen it go below 75% so I wouldn't be surprised if it could last almost a whole month. The accuracy improvement vs the older Master 3 mouse is slightly noticeable and the super fast scrolling is great. The other thing that I really love is the programmable buttons that are easy to setup. I know the programmable keys are mostly for gaming but I have found them to be really useful for working in Excel, for instance, I programmed one of the buttons to automatically input ALT+T+U+D which shows me the dependents of any given cell and saves 4 keystrokes. Another button I have programmed brings up the Quick Access Toolbar which is customizable so with just one press of the button I can bring that up and have access to all my most used tools right away. These may not sound like huge time savers but they really do add up and I find that they help me stay better focused. If I have one "complaint" I would have to say it is the button underneath that allows you to switch between 3 different computers. This button/feature works great and works really fast, however it is a little annoying to flip the mouse over and press the little button. I'm sure this is deliberate as it would be much more annoying if this button was accidently pushed easily, but that really is the only criticism I can think of with this product.

Good quiet mouse and good customer service

This mouse is great, especially if you want a mouse that is very quiet. I can use my laptop and this mouse while in the family room without driving everyone nuts by the constant clicking that I do when working. I also like the ability to spin the wheel freely, which allows me to move through long spreadsheets very quickly. Then I can click a button that keeps the wheel from moving unless I want it to move. Just the way I like it.The mouse that I bought had a battery that wouldn't last nearly as long as advertised, but after a painless set of emails with their customer service staff, they sent me a new one. The new mouse is a tad heavier, so I assume that the replacement mouse has a larger battery.

After trying others this is the best I've found.

I got this to solve a problem I was having with Logic Pro (for audio production) on my Mac Book Pro, so this is specifically about that situation in that application.I needed to resolve automation settings to 0.1db and the 2 Apple Magic Mouse I had were not doing that easily or consistently. I've since learned of a keyboard trick to solve that problem, so the Magic Mouse were not at fault. But the combination of the 8K DPI setting and adjustable pointer speed, which I'm running at 800, has me using it all the time now.I must say that finding those adjustments required a support call with Logitech because nothing in the manual, such as it is, or in the Logi Options+ app, explains how, which is easy enough if you just click on the image of the mouse on the opening page of the app. And after I got past the ChatBots, Logitech support did not take long to answer my question. The MX Master 3S is a great mouse at a good price, with lots of other features and options to recommend it.

    Worth the price

This is the best mouse I've ever used, which it should be considering it's also the most expensive. It's very comfortable in the hand. It's a larger mouse and my hands are pretty small for a man, so I don't think most people will have a problem with fit. One thing I missed about my Mac is the inertia scrolling of the Magic Mouse. This mouse accomplishes the same thing with it's scroll wheel, which can go at variable speeds. There's a second wheel on the side of the mouse for easy horizontal scrolling, too. No regrets so far.

Not a giant leap forward from previous models

PROS:• The clicks are quiet. So what.• The battery lasts a lot longer. That's good.CONS:• There are fewer buttons than my old MX.• The horizontal scroll wheel is of dubious value, but worse, it gets in the way.• The horizontal scroll wheel gets in the way of accessing back and forward buttons.• The Logi Options+ could be better designed. Like all things Logitech, the physical product is superior to the software and support. It's like two different companies conspired to make one product. It's a good mouse but certainly not a great one. I'm not sure why our buying options are so limited when it comes to mice.

Blown away by this mouse. Great for designers.

I started getting wrist pain from using my laptop trackpad and realized I needed to bite the bullet and get a mouse. I mainly use Figma and Illustrator, which is why I was hesitant to get a mouse out of concern for a lack of control. But damn, this mouse has everything: ergonomic design, satisfying haptics, and you can even fully customize each of the buttons through their app, Logi Options+ (which on a side note is fun to mess around with and looks amazing). For example I've been using the scroll wheel as the hand tool in Illustrator. Glorious. I got used to it in about an hour.

    comfortable for average hand size

pretty comfortable overall and it paired easily with Windows 11 PC without needing the USB dongle. There is a tiny bit of latency if you let it rest, but once it is moving it is smooth. My guess is this lag is a battery saving feature, and it might be quicker to respond if you plug in the dongle. The available buttons are great, and I can see why this would work as a gaming mouse. I haven't had it long enough to test the lifespan of the battery, but I'm glad it is rechargeable so I can stop replacing batteries.it feels like a size medium and I could have used a large, which is par for the course when you are 6'8". If I could have scaled up the size it would get the full 5-star treatment instead of 4.
